With humble gratitude and excitement, we would like to invite current University Presbyterian Church members, alumni, and friends to the 30th Anniversary Celebration, from Oct. 22-24, 2021. It will be a weekend of witnessing how God has prepared the church to enter the next stage of maturity, of meeting old as well as new friends, and of sharing what God has done in our lives. Come and join us in being One Family with One Purpose, to love the Lord and to love others, and with One Hope, to worship the Lord together. It will be a joy and an honor for us to see you and your families!

Dear friends,
On behalf of the UPC family, I would like to announce exciting news: the church has just purchased a two-story building at 1333 Westwood Blvd, only two blocks south of Wilshire Blvd, for the purpose of influencing lives for Christ. This is nothing short of God’s miracle – a church that has kept the vision of reaching out to young people, despite moving countless times since 2016, has finally found a permanent place to gather, worship, and from which to reach out to people. Because there were so many ups and downs in the process, we were uncertain whether we would be able to have our 30th anniversary celebration at our new building, but now it is a reality. How amazing it is that everything was orchestrated in such a way that we will celebrate at the new building!
We want to invite you to celebrate with us our 30 years here at UCLA on October 22nd -24th. It is time for all of us to remember what God has done and give thanks for the opportunity to be part of His work. We hope you will come, reconnect, and join us in honoring God, for He has done great things for us!

Parking:
There is on-site parking, street parking in the neighborhood, and overflow parking in nearby lots.
- On Friday and Saturday, if needed, the parking attendant will hand you a ticket and directions to the overflow lot.
- On Sunday, the overflow is the parking lot for Fresh Corn Grill and no ticket is needed to park there.

A relaxing time to connect over dinner and entertainment in the new building. Entertainment will be provided by current and previous UPC members. Program will begin around 7:30 PM.

A special night of presentations, sharing, and giving thanks to the Lord. Dinner will be catered and served with safety precautions taken. Program will begin around 7:00 PM. Attire: Semi-formal

Celebration Worship Service
10 am Breakfast: A delicious breakfast served alongside the chance to mingle with people.
11 am Worship Service: We will gather to worship the Lord with our alumni band and a message by Pastor Soon.

F.A.Q.
What are the Covid guidelines for the event?
Out of consideration for children who are not vaccinated and for the safety of everyone, please follow the CDC and LACDPH guidelines. If you are not vaccinated, please test negative within 72 hours before attending the events.
Is there any housing provided?
There is no housing provided, however, we will do our best to provide assistance for those that may need it. Please contact us at [email protected].
Any other costs?
All events are free except for the Saturday evening banquet. Please note when you register which events you will be attending so that we can plan for food and parking.
Will there be childcare?
There will be childcare provided for children ages 3-12 for each event. Children will join parents for meals and will attend the children's program accordingly on Friday and Saturday. For Sunday's worship service, children will join parents for worship and have Sunday school afterwards.
Shuttle Services from UCLA
The shuttle service for students for Friday and Saturday events will be arranged by Jordan. Sunday service pick up will be the regular times. Please contact Jordan ([email protected]) if you have any questions.
