One Hope, One Purpose, One Family
UPC 30th Anniversary  |  Oct. 22-24, 2021
With humble gratitude and excitement, we would like to invite current University Presbyterian Church members, alumni, and friends to the 30th Anniversary Celebration, from Oct. 22-24, 2021. It will be a weekend of witnessing how God has prepared the church to enter the next stage of maturity, of meeting old as well as new friends, and of sharing what God has done in our lives. Come and join us in being One Family with One Purpose, to love the Lord and to love others, and with One Hope, to worship the Lord together. It will be a joy and an honor for us to see you and your families!
You're Invited...
Dear friends,

On behalf of the UPC family, I would like to announce exciting news: the church has just purchased a two-story building at 1333 Westwood Blvd, only two blocks south of Wilshire Blvd, for the purpose of influencing lives for Christ. This is nothing short of God’s miracle – a church that has kept the vision of reaching out to young people, despite moving countless times since 2016, has finally found a permanent place to gather, worship, and from which to reach out to people. Because there were so many ups and downs in the process, we were uncertain whether we would be able to have our 30th anniversary celebration at our new building, but now it is a reality. How amazing it is that everything was orchestrated in such a way that we will celebrate at the new building!

We want to invite you to celebrate with us our 30 years here at UCLA on October 22nd -24th. It is time for all of us to remember what God has done and give thanks for the opportunity to be part of His work. We hope you will come, reconnect, and join us in honoring God, for He has done great things for us!

In Him,
Pastor Soon and Esther

Share Your Story

One Purpose: 30th Anniversary Edition
Every church carries unique stories, and University Presbyterian Church is no exception. In fact, because it started as a campus ministry, its history is full of peoples’ tales related to their spiritual journeys, lifelong friendships made in college, and romantic relationships. Accordingly, as UPC prepares to celebrate its 30th anniversary, we would love to collect people's testimonies about what God has done in their lives over the years and publish them under the title, One Purpose: 30th Anniversary Edition. This will be a wonderful way to share and illustrate to our family, friends, and children that the God we believe in and serve is real! If you are interested in participating, please submit your testimony of 1-2 pages (no more than 500 words).

Video Testimonies
We are collecting video testimonies to be shown during the 30th Anniversary Celebration. This is your chance to send your greetings and share how UPC has impacted your life. We hope to hear especially from people who are unable to attend the anniversary in-person. For those who are attending, we plan to have open-mic sharing, however, if you prefer to send a video, please do! Please record your video in landscape view and limit your sharing to 2 minutes.

Photos
Let’s enjoy a trip down memory lane through photos! We would appreciate any photos taken during your time with UPC! We will be using them for slideshows, decorations and social media posts.
