Dear Trade and Industrial Educators and Supporters,

The Virginia Association of Trade and Industrial Educators (VATIE) continues to strive to promote the highest standard of professionalism to Virginia Trade and Industrial Educators, bridging the gap between trade and industrial education with business and industry. VATIE provides Trade and Industrial Educators training, educational opportunities, and professional updates to create the highest level of career training and support, which benefits all Trade and Industry stakeholders.

Virginia Association of Trade and Industrial Educators’ motto is ‘Bridging the Gap.’ Our annual conferences bridge the gap between creating professional networks, connecting, sharing, and learning. VATIE proudly upholds its motto of Bridging the Gap by bringing industry-relevant information and classroom experiences to our students, ultimately leading to lifelong learning and success. Our industry partners enjoy connecting with Trade and Industrial Educators across Virginia and vice versa. This partnership enhances the Trade and Industrial educators’ and the students’ experience and brings value to each business partner. We integrate the information our industry partners share into our classrooms, creating a skilled workforce.

VATIE board understands the importance of family time, especially during the end of the summer, and would like to encourage you to book your next family summer vacation by adding days to your conference stay. We have been able to negotiate the same low rates during this peak vacation season. Add to your conference days either before or after the conference. And when you attend the conference, we hope you will encourage a Trade and Industrial Educator/Supporter to come to VATIE.

See you soon!

Arnaz Dotivala
VATIE President
