You don't have to stay here, but this was the selection that was made for a bit of a "home base". The hosts (sans Fen) will be staying at this hotel. If you book something else, it would be wise to stay near the Mall of America so you can be close to everyone else. There are several other options, but in the interest of keeping it simple...this is the one.
It didn't make sense for us to do a block of rooms. The cost was pretty much identical as booking solo, and we don't want to be on the hook for anything.

Paisley Park Tour (Prince's Home)
Prince was an icon to the city of Minneapolis and one of the most charismatic musicians of all time. Let's go take a tour of the purple palace! This is an unofficial event that will require purchase of a ticket (non-refundable). Space on the tour is limited and will be first come, first serve. It's a little pricey, but if you're a fan of Prince, it's worth the price of admission.
We have a few people that have purchased tickets to the VIP Experience at 3 PM on Thursday (Including hosts). It's about $125/each after taxes and fees. There are 12 spots open currently, but we aren't guaranteed any until we buy the tickets. If you're interested, let us know ASAP

Catalina Wine Mixer – Modist Brewing Co.
It's the fucking Catalina Wine Mixer! It's a staple of every Ventchat meetup. We will be reserving a small space inside of Modist Brewing Co. It "fits" 30, but it's just to ensure we have some space. You'll be free to roam around the brewery if you'd like. It's right next to Target Field for anyone attending the Minnesota Twins blaseball game

Minnesota Twins Blaseball Game - Target Field
Blaseball has (oddly enough) become a recurring theme of Ventchat meetups. We went in Cincinnati and Boston. The Twins are playing the Toronto Blue Jays, and it's just a five minute walk from the Catalina Wine Mixer spot. We could get tickets as low as $20/ea (not great seats), or we could look at a little bit higher price point if people wanted to. Also, ticket prices could get cheaper as the date gets closer. Or maybe we'll go fuck ourselves and skip the game. Let's talk about it!

Minnesota State Fair
Yes, I know 8 AM is early. There is a shuttle that goes from the Mall of America parking lot to the fair. Some of us will get started early to maximize our day, but feel free to head over to the fair and link up whenever you'd like. You'll likely have some phone numbers or other methods of contacting your buds when you get there.
