The Koch Center for Mental Health and Wellness
Honoring the Legacy of Kenneth Koch

The Koch Center for Mental Health and Wellness stands as a living tribute to the life and legacy of Kenneth Koch—a distinguished Army Aviator, devoted husband, and loving father. Inspired by his dedication to service, family, and well-being, the Center reflects his enduring spirit of courage, compassion, and care for others. It is designed to be a sanctuary where veterans, first responders, and community members can embark on a path toward healing, restoration, and personal growth.

The VFAC Organization
We are a nonprofit organization established in Columbus in January 2016. Our focus is to assist veterans and their families navigate through the daunting process of reintegrating back to civilian life, advocate for them as they seek disability benefits and compensation, and to connect them with available resources. Since our conception, we have successfully supported over 11,000 veterans and their families and have assisted them in receiving millions of dollars of compensation benefits.

Currently, there are seventeen veterans that commit suicide daily. We are looking to expand our services to reduce the suicide rate among veterans and are exploring available properties that can be converted into a resort and spa center designed to help reduce stress and anxiety by providing a safe space for them to unwind and relax. In addition to physical relaxation, the facility will have a psychologist and two additional counselors the will teach them essential life skills to empower them to become productive citizens. We are seeking donors that will partner with us as we take on this much needed project.
