about vibe fest
Vibe Fest 2021 is an in-door entertainment festival which takes place in Tampa, FL. The goal of the annual event is to bring awareness to the urban entertainment community talent and celebrate its accomplishments. The events entertainment features a variety of talent with performances across Jazz, R&B, Spoken Word, Hip Hop and Comedy. Year-round events called “Afrodisiac Live” are theme based. Whether a time period, celebration of an artist music or a sound of a city, these events expose talent from West Central Florida and surrounding areas. Vibe Fest is the culmination of these events.
2021 is the inaugural year of the event. This event will also celebrate the release of the Afrodisiac music compilation entitled “Afrodisiac Vol.1 SoulXperience”. This album was conceived by the events founders DJ Royce and Dwayne “SoulHop” Golson. “It was always the vision to do live events, recording original music and put on an annual festival” says Dwayne. “The three together continues to write the story of the Tampa Bay music scene which is every growing with each year that passes”. Accompanied by a documentary on the making of the album (shot by Mico White, Mico White Photography) the history books has to find some more room and additional pages.
Vibe Fest is presented by Afrodisiac Live in association with Crystal Clear Management & Consulting II (CCMC), along with C.T.C. Events. Founders are Crystal Hill, DJ Royce & Dwayne Golson.

"Afrodisiac Live" takes pride in discovering and exposing experienced performers while discovering new and emerging talent.
Yoshi

West Central Florida based recording artist Yoshi is an experienced songwriter, event promoter, graphic designer, and performs frequently throughout the greater Orlando, Tampa and surrounding areas. She writes for other singers. Most recently, she penned the debut single for bay area singer Shauny Rox aptly titled "Good". Yoshi has released her own material with an ep entitled "46 East" and more recently a single "Say You Ain't". She is proving that her best is still far yet to come. Live performances often remind you of the second coming of Chaka Khan. If you ask her, she will tell you, "I just like to have fun, and want everyone around me to have fun as well". Yoshi like other featured performers appears on the "Afrodisiac Vol.1 SoulXperience" and is the first out the gate with the single "25" which arrives April 25th.

Saxophonist Marlon Boone has been playing sax since 10. Traveling extensively and sharing stages with industry greats he is no stranger to the stage. Marlon has opened for and performed on stage with industry greats: Pieces of a Dream, Saxophonist Kim Waters, Will Donato, Elan Troutman, Pamela Williams, Dee Lucus recording artist Howard, Hewitt, Smooth Jazz Trumpeter, Joey Summerville, Keyboardist Nathan Mitchell, and many others. His talent is compared to late Grover Washington Jr., Kirk Whalum, and Richard Elliot. He has released two smooth jazz singles, "Sunset East," and " "Let's Get Away." His new single "Dance With Me" released on April 1st.

C-Renā is a singer, songwriter and vocal coach. With her band "The Soul Magicians" her soulful tones leave audiences spell-bound. Her album "Love's Inspiration" is a great collection of music. Rooted in soul, she has been compared to Mary J. Blige, and has been inspired by the greats like Donny Hathaway and Aretha Franklin. She has played Gaspirilla, Black Heritage Festival, Riverfront Rock, Loud on Seventh to name a few. You may have seen her at Donatello's, The Attic Ybor, 5 Star Dive Bar, Jazz House Supper Club, Crowbar or Iberian Rooster. The list goes on. Her music is great, her stage show is not one to miss.

Spoken word according to wikipedia "is a late 20th century continuation of an ancient oral artistic tradition that focuses on the aesthetics of recitation and word play". Telicia Da Poet has mastered this artform. Already recording two full lenth albums ("Mirror" and "Head Piece") and performing on numerous stages, she continuees to make a name for herself. Set to release her new project, a duet album with Markus Vance (The BeatDown Band), their single from the forthcoming album "Nothing" is out now.

Jus Henry has a soulful smooth island voice. Some would argue the biggest smile and voice in the bay area. Bob Marley would be proud that Jus is carrying on the tradition. As a member of "Synergy in a Cup" band, he has performed at "Gaspirlla", Loud on Seventh", "Rhapsody Suite" and "Aprodisiac Live" events. Jus also has a podcast named "JusChillin". His just chillin' interview format feels like you are doing just that. Hanging out relaxing talking about any and everything while listening to music and enjoying a beverage. He has released an album entitled "Challenge the Motive".

When you hear the name Nasja Monè you get the sense that a star will appear. Smoothest pipes you will ever hear Nasja is a born performer and great songwriter. As front member of the band "The Rythmics" she has been seen performing at "Shepards", "The Brown Boxer", "Gators Cafe", "Sparkmans Wharf" and many more. You may have seen her perform on events like "Art & Soul", "Rhapsody Suite" to name a few. She is featured on collaborative songs and is currently working on her own project.

ML as his friends call him is a singer as well as songwriter. He is an emerging recording artist and performer. Of all of the performers, he is the newest but with a big future in front of him. His latest single "Sweetest Luv" was released April 9, 2021.

Currently gigging and recording a new project, she is no stranger to the stage. Hold on to your seat or get blow away by this powerhouse.
