Mountain Bike Maintenance Workshop

Presented by VNTRbirds - Powered by Feedback Sports

Get ready to build real confidence with your tools and learn the essential skills that keep your mountain bike running smooth, reliable, and trail-ready all season long. Whether you’re new to wrenching or just want to feel more self-sufficient on the trail, this workshop is designed to take the stress out of bike maintenance and replace it with hands-on know-how you can actually use.

Led by experienced mechanic Chloe Heinzel, you’ll walk through the fundamentals of bike care and simple trail-side fixes that make a big difference when you’re out riding. From understanding what your bike needs before and after every ride, to learning how to handle common issues like flats, chain problems, and basic adjustments—this session is all about building confidence and independence with your bike.

We’ll cover practical skills, demystify your gear, and help you understand not just what to do, but why it matters. There will be some hands-on learning throughout the workshop, so you can see and practice the techniques in real time.
No need to bring your bike—just bring yourself, your questions, and a willingness to learn.
💸 This is a free workshop with a suggested $10 donation to support our mechanics who make these programs possible.

This is your chance to get hands-on and leave feeling confident handling the most common trail-side (and garage) fixes. Here’s what we’re diving into:
  • Pre + post-ride checks that keep your bike running smooth (and save you from mid-ride surprises)
  • The must-have tools for your pack—no more overpacking or forgetting the essentials
  • Flat fixes, start to finish: tubes, plugs (“bacon strips”), and getting back on trail fast
  • Chain care + quick fixes: broken chains, quick links, and keeping things shifting clean
