VINTUS New York Presents:
Spirits, Cider & Sherry!
Join Us On July 19th and Explore VNY's Portfolio of Spirits
One of the silver linings over the last year has been the start of our partnership with the Craft Spirits Cooperative. CSC was started by the husband-and-wife team of Romina and PJ Scheufele. Romina is the third generation Master Distiller from Capurro Pisco, arguably the top Pisco producer in the world. They have put together an incredible collection of authentic, benchmark artisanal spirits producers from around the globe. Their operation is led in New York by Tom Richter, CSC’s East Coast Spirits Specialist. Tom has an incredibly deep history in the New York cocktail scene and has more than likely made you a delicious drink at The Beagle, Dear Irving, Milk & Honey or any number of watering holes in NYC.

These amazing products are already speaking for themselves and it’s been a fantastic start. Historic distilleries from Sweden (Åhus Akvavit) to Peru (Capurro Pisco) are joined by farm to bottle distillates from Bimini in Maine and Woody Creek in Colorado. The Agave portfolio is highlighted by small, family-owned properties like El Pintor, El Mero Mero, Legendario Domingo, Metiche and a fascinating liquor called Xila. The CSC portfolio is rounded out by a growing collection of overseas producers, including Saison Rum (carefully selected Rums brought to France and aged in Cognac) and Chateau de Millet (Armagnac). These join our other brands, New Alchemy Distilling from California, producers of some of the finest gins and other spirits that the United States has to offer, and with Barcelona’s newest premium offerings, GINRAW and BONANTO, each revolutionary in its respective Gin and Aperitivo category. Beyond that, we will be previewing some exciting developments that will be making a huge splash in the RTD space this fall.

We aren’t stopping at spirits, either. La Guita Manzanilla (Spain’s top selling and most beloved producer) and Sanchez Romate will bring a range of styles from two of the most respected Sherry bodegas in Spain. Our friends from Eden Specialty Ciders will also have their farm-driven apple ciders, which are beautifully made and leaders in a truly underappreciated category that is as American as apple…well, cider.

We can't wait for you to see what we've been up to. See you there!

Safety Protocol: Tables will be spaced far enough apart to allow for distancing. We will be checking temperatures at the door and ask that everyone either be vaccinated or provide a negative COVID-19 test result. Tastings will be conducted out of disposable plastic cups.
