A MUDDY WATERS TRIBUTE FEATURING THE TIM GARTLAND BAND

Tim Gartland
As an acclaimed contemporary blues artist, Tim has spent his life crafting his art.  Inspired at age 13 at a Muddy Waters concert in his home state of Ohio, he began his musical journey learning the harmonica and the blues genre.
To date, Tim has released five critically acclaimed solo albums. His first two albums were recorded in Boston. The albums “Looking Into The Sun” and “Million Stars” prompted The Boston Globe to declare “the bluesman is a true triple-threat performer, equally accomplished as an emotive vocalist, eloquent harmonica player and evocative songwriter." In addition to his writing and performing, Tim is a teacher and author. He wrote an instructional manual “The Talking Harmonica” and teaches online nationwide.

Al Hill
Al Hill is an award-winning singer and piano/guitar player whose songs span roots-rock, blues and jazz. Al was winner of Best Solo Act and Best Solo Guitarist awards at the 2017 Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. As music director for multiple Grammy nominee Bettye LaVette, Al performed throughout North and South America, Europe, Africa, Japan and Australia. Bettye and Al appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, the Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and Austin City Limits. For the past five years he toured with country music royalty Carlene Carter.
Other artists Al has worked with include Charles "Wigg" Walker, Johnny Johnson, Tracy Nelson, Detroit blues luminaries Johnnie Bassett, Alberta Adams and Sir Mack Rice, Delbert McClinton, T. Graham Brown, Tracy Nelson, Wanda Jackson, Mike Farris, Lazy Lester, Marva Wright, Kermit Ruffins and Sleepy LaBeef.

Dennis Drummond
With music being his passion, Dennis got his first guitar at seven years old and a few years later started his first blues band. In 2012, after graduating from Berklee College of Music, Dennis moved to Nashville to pursue his music career and quickly began making a name for himself as a touring guitar player. He was a contestant on The Voice Season 13 and a member of Team Adam, but formerly a member of Team Blake. His blind audition of The Black Crowes song "She Talks To Angels" turned two chairs.

Jolie Grace Wareham
Jolie Grace is a soulful upright bass player who enjoys playing with the Tim Gartland Band!

Andy Peake
Andy Peake began a fast track to regional and national success  playing drums and percussion as a regular band member consecutively for multiple touring and recording artists including  Nicolette Larson, Tanya Tucker, Don Williams, the Sweethearts of the Rodeo, Delbert McClinton and Lee Roy Parnell.
