Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Inc. (BMMA) on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 in
Atlanta, Georgia for an intimate evening as we close out 2025 and look ahead to a new year of collective action, storytelling, and impact.
The evening will feature a special screening of the short film Water Angel, followed by a reflective conversation and community dialogue with BMMA staff. Guests will also have the opportunity to connect and learn about upcoming events, campaigns, and ways to get involved in 2026.

MTV Staying Alive Foundation, Water Angel follows a young Black couple’s pregnancy journey, revealing the deep inequities that continue to shape maternal health outcomes for Black women and birthing people.
BMMA, Inc. served as Technical Consultant on the film, with
Kwajelyn Jackson, Executive Director of the Feminist Center for Reproductive Liberation, as Consulting Producer.
