We are so glad you’re here! The Grass & Arts festival begins, first and foremost, with Grass - BLUEgrass that is. We have a passion for Bluegrass Music and it is our hope that you will too. Four bands will be featured throughout the day, including Ralph Stanley II and the Clinch Mountain Boys! We are honored to have them as our guests this year. As the bands perform, feel free to browse at the various makers and art vendors for something unique to add to your collection. It will be close to Christmas, so it would be the perfect time to pick up a one-of-a-kind gift for those on your list! And when you come, COME HUNGRY! You‘ll have food trucks and snack vendors to try! Y’all come and stay a while! We would love to have you.

Eli patrick & Friends
Eli Patrick has been a country music fan since he was at least two years old. He fell in love with bluegrass after he heard Doyle Lawson's "School of Bluegrass" record. The way Doyle arranged harmonies inspired Eli to learn the craft and he found he had a knack for catching the bass line. Coming from a musical family, Eli had plenty of opportunities to hone his craft by accompanying his grandfather and great-uncles in their bluegrass-gospel groups, as well as playing at Carl and Norma's Little Opry House in Maytown, Kentucky. He has since made appearances on Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour and Meadowgreen Appalachian Music Park (being featured on stage with Ralph 2!) and he is attending the Kentucky School of Bluegrass and Traditional Music with the intent of pursuing a full-time career in bluegrass music.

string roots trio
String Roots Trio is a family band from Campton, Kentucky with a background in traditional bluegrass music. The band has been playing acoustic music together for over ten years, encompassing many genres while adding an Appalachian flavor. The group consists of Mike Creech on the guitar, Jimmy Smith on the Banjo, Holly Smith on vocals and Terri Powell on the bass.

Keith Prater & Lacy Creek, originating in the town of Hazelgreen, Kentucky, are a fantastic group of pickers that are steeped in traditional bluegrass music. Find out more about them at www.keithpraterandlacycreek.com

ralph stanley ii & the Clinch mountain boys
Ralph II began working professionally for his father in the year of 1995 and has carried The Clinch Mountain Boys on since. As well as fronting the first Clinch Mountain Boys group after the passing of his father Ralph Edmond Stanley. Find out more about Ralph II at www.ralph2.com
