Shooting Without Bullets will be exhibiting partners in CLEVELAND WALLS! International Mural Program, a POW! WOW! Worldwide production hosted by Midtown, Inc. and LAND Studio. Over 20 local and national artists will make over MidTown and its surrounding neighborhood in a celebration of art, culture and community.

SWOB’s activation at the festival will include the launch of their Streetwear collection, inhale/exhale V.2 in collaboration with retailer Xhibition. The pop-up will also feature an apparel design lab powered by Puma, which is a supporting sponsor of the gallery lounge activation.

Recognizing that methods and expressions of play for marginalized youth, particularly youth of color, are historically and pervasively criminalized and suppressed, We Made It. and the experience surrounding it counters this narrative and asserts that joy and recreation should be prioritized and enabled for the lives of youth. Through this activation, SWOB champions the types of freedom discovered through play and platforms experimental design by burgeoning young Black and brown creatives.

Shooting Without Bullets (SWOB) is a Cleveland-based creative agency and production company comprised of Black and Brown youth and justice-minded artists. SWOB uses cultural production to amplify bold messages of justice and equity. As a nonprofit creative and social enterprise, SWOB creates art, campaigns, products, and public programs while engaging in artist education and development, activism, and advocacy.
