The Sisters in Christ of the FL District of the Wesleyan Church invite you to our Annual Fall Retreat. This year the Retreat will be hosted by Faith Wesleyan Church in Lakeland. For our lodging rooms can be booked at Holiday Inn Express Lakeland North, where they have a block of rooms reserved for us.
Our Retreat starts on Friday evening at Faith Wesleyan. At 6pm we will welcome The Funny Together Tour Christian Comedy Show! This show is open to the public as a community outreach for Faith Wesleyan and the Sisters in Christ.
After the Comedy Show the Sisters in Christ will have a 'meet and greet' reception at Holiday Inn Express Lakeland North.
Saturday morning, we will welcome everyone again at Faith Wesleyan.
Throughout the day we will hear from our keynote speaker, Rev. Eleanor Ladd as we focus on our theme "Crowned for His Glory".
Breakout sessions on Saturday afternoon will be led by women from our District.
We will end our 'official' retreat activities on Saturday night.
Retreat attendees are encouraged to join the local congregation of Faith Wesleyan for their Sunday morning service.
