CSU SPUR
CSU Spur is a three-building campus that brings learning to life around important global topics of food, water, and health.  CSU Spur is a free educational destination in Denver with a focus on food, water, and health research and innovation. CSU Spur is a free, public learning destination! There is something for everyone: courses for adults, PreK-12 student field trips, family activities, event spaces for rent. SPUR is home to our CSU State plant pathology Lab.  WHIS will be focusing on Plant pathology and Water.

DIA AIRPORT - CUSTOMS AND BORDER PATROL POINT OF ENTRY
Tour the International Arrivals Customs and Border Patrol checkpoint including the agricultural dog inspections and seized products.

NATIONAL LAB FOR GENETIC RESOURCE PRESERVATION
Plains Area The National Laboratory for Genetic Resources Preservation (NLGRP), formerly the National Center for Genetic Resources Preservation, conserves genetic resources of crops and animals important to United States agriculture and landscapes. Genetic resources from this collection are used for the conservation of biological diversity and utilization of genetic resources for economic and environmental sustainability. In addition to being a seed bank, NLGRP is a repository for animal genetic resources in the form of semen, and plant genetic resources in the form of graftable buds or in vitro plantlets. Genetic resources are often preserved using cryopreservation technologies. This collection is part of the U.S. National Plant Germplasm System (NPGS).

CSU SEED DIAGNOSTIC LAB
For nearly 100 years, the Colorado Seed Laboratory has been your source for excellence and reliability in seed testing. The Colorado Seed Laboratory is an official AOSA laboratory, and we also perform tests according to ISTA and Canadian standards upon request.  We will tour the lab and learn how they perform some of the testing.

Colorado Dept. of Agriculture Pesticide Enforcement Division is conducting research to use Drones to detect pesticide levels on plant material.
