A night like no other: The Whole Hog Jubilee.
The air is crisp. Live music harmonizes with laughter, highlighted by the crackle of the fire. The smell of barbeque weaves its way through the soft scent of autumn falling, and everywhere you look, you see the hand-selected best of Des Moines' incredible food artisans and creatives.
At the center of this event, a whole hog roast from renowned local pitmaster, Jeremiah Grant Crow, with the rest of the feast prepared by award-winning chef Aaron Holt.

An Central Iowa Feast
We've brought together some of the best chefs and farmers from our own backyard to create a true celebration of what can only happen here in Des Moines and the surrounding area. You'll partake of a delicious meal from our chef artisan partners, made with farm-to-table delicious recipes from local farmers. An experience where you can taste and see the full bounty of what our community can create.
Every aspect of the meal and the experience will be attended to by the Lexicon Farms team and our creative partners. Make it a date night, an evening with your neighbors, an excuse to meet new friends.

We are thrilled to have Dan Davis + Friends join us as the live music for Whole Hog Jubilee 2024. Locals will recognize members of the band from various venues around Des Moines. For the Jubilee, they'll bring their unique combination of Americana and folk.
The Power of Generosity
In the ancient world, a "Jubilee" was a celebration to right wrongs, free those who had been enslaved, and forgive debts. For our Whole Hog Jubilee, we will be sharing profits from the event (a minimum of $2500) to help our neighbors trapped by crippling medical debt. Through Undue Medical Debt, we can buy up that debt for pennies on the dollar, giving people an opening toward their own financial well-being.
