On Wednesday, December 21st, we will celebrate the longest evening of the year before the return of the sun. This special gathering invites us to reflect the season by turning inward to explore our own depths before reaching outward to connect with our community in celebration of the coming light.
Our winter solstice festival will feature symbolic seasonal activities such as building a winter altar in gratitude for the year’s harvest, as well as crafting beeswax candles as a reminder of light we all carry even when surrounded by the darkness of the season. We’ll walk the path of the labyrinth (an ancient spiritual symbol) carrying our candles to light the way for those who follow in our footsteps, and join together for music and song that acknowledges the winter harvest. Crafts and games inspired by the season will also be hosted by our Education Team.

Don’t miss this unique gathering in honor of the season of rest and reflection. We can’t wait to celebrate this special evening with you.
