Welcome to the very first Western New York Football Club team!

WNYFC is a new club that that aims to provide competitive players throughout New York West with opportunities to compete outside of their club teams in the summer and winter, and also provide new and exciting ways to train!

The WNYFC 2011/2012G will compete at the Cobras FC Summer Classic on June 27-29 in Rochester, NY in U15 and the EDP Summer Sizzler on July 26-27 in Bordentown, NJ in U14. We have officially accepted into both events!

I (Christina Sonsire) am the President of WNYFC and will be the coach of this team. I have been coaching youth soccer since 2004 in many different capacities, and I played collegiately at Georgetown University where I served as team captain for two years and was the first female soccer player inducted into Georgetown's Hall of Fame.

My goal is to simply provide players with the opportunity to compete with other high level competitors and help them out where I can. The aim will be for all players to be on the field for at least 50% of each game, and players will ideally have the chance to test out positions they may not be able to play on their club teams wherever possible - all with a goal of competing as well as we can at both events.

The registration form (pink button to the right)contains many details about how things will work. Please fill it out as soon as you can! This will help me tremendously as there is a fair bit of administrative work to do in a short period of time.
