What WILL YOU LEARN:
BASICS + ETIQUETTE:
Learn the movements of taking your bike from the ground to the air in a low consequence environment. Get in touch with proper foot positioning and body positioning before dropping into the bike park. Bunny hops, wheel lifts, etc...
Gain the understanding of bike park protocol and how to keep yourself safe in this environment.

DROPS:
A trail feature that usually has a flat entrance and unlike a rollover, you do need to bring both of your bike tires up off the ground to get back to the landing. If a rollover is too steep to actually connect back to the trail without scraping the frame of your bike or if the feature drops away suddenly, this is a sure tell sign you need to “drop”.
Get the skills, practice and progression to hit drops with confidence and even take it from the bike park to the trail with your new fundamentals!

JUMPS:
Also called "tabletops". Get the knowledge and encouragement to ride into a jump line and gain air after the take off and bring it down smoothly into the landing. Starting small will build your confidence to continue to progress your skills with the wide variety of jump levels available at the Frisco Bike Park.

*Flat pedals required (no clips) + full face helmet recommended.

WHAT GROUP SHOULD I BE IN?
Skills to have before beginner air clinic:
You may be experimenting with getting air but it feels out of control or inconsistent, your body generally feels stiff in the air and you are more a passenger than a driver
1. Front wheel lift
2. Rear wheel lift
3. Level wheel lift (front and rear at same time)
4. “Bunny hop” : ie. Can you lift your front wheel and then rear wheel in succession, you don't need to do it well as it will be reviewed in the clinic, but you can manage the body position to execute
5. Pump track comfort: ie. Can you pump through a pump track without pedaling or being thrown off balance

Skills to have before intermediate air clinic:
1. All of the beginner skills listed above
2. Feel comfortable hitting small table top jumps:
a. You might clear it sometimes but often land on top of the table
b. You depend on speed to clear the table, not so sure about what your body should be doing
3. Can usually keep body loose in the air (don’t usually stiffen up when the wheels come off the ground).
