How did this come about:
In April, 2023, the American Freedom Alliance held a two-day conference, "World War III: The Early Years," that addressed the various aspects of global threats. The event was deemed so important that we are taking it "on the road" to various regions relevant to the 2024 election. Dr. Eastman is one of the pre-eminent Constitutional scholars, educators and attorneys in this country. He is also one of the most targeted individuals in the Left's use of Lawfare to take down and silence political opponents. What has been happening to John Eastman offers a case study in what happens when the judicial system has been weaponized for political purposes, and it's a travesty. And of course, since the first indictments leveled at him, countless others have been targets as well including President Trump and Stephen K. Bannon.
Dr. Eastman has been criminally indicted, ordered inactive by the State Bar of California, and recommended for disbarment. He has lost eligibility to practice law in California state courts, pending his appeal of the state bar judge's ruling that recommended him for disbarment. Eastman is also cited as a “co-conspirator” in the federal indictment brought against President Trump over what they claim are his attempts to subvert the 2020 election results and prevent the certification of Biden's election.
Dr. John Eastman is a Board member and Senior Fellow at the Claremont Institute and founding Director of the Institute’s Center for Constitutional Jurisprudence, a public interest law firm. He was a member of the law faculty at the Chapman University Fowler School of Law from 1999 to January 2021, specializing in Constitutional Law, Legal History, and Property. He has a Ph.D. in Government from the Claremont Graduate School and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
