COVID-19 policy
Your health is important to us, and we will do our best to keep everyone safe and healthy during our summit.

We will update this information as new protocols emerge, so please check back for the latest information.
travel requirements
There are currently no COVID-19 related travel restrictions or requirements for travelling to the UK from other countries. However, these regulations can change so we encourage you to keep an eye out on UK Government announcements.

If you had a positive test result in the past two weeks, or have had close contact or lived with someone who has COVID-19, please ensure you obtain a negative test before your travel.

You can find relevant travel information here.
masks
Although wearing a face covering is no longer mandatory in London, please consider wearing a face covering in crowded or enclosed spaces where the virus can spread more easily, including on public transport services where face coverings are strongly recommended.

Some event venues may have individual mask requirements as well, of which you will be informed on the day. So please always carry a mask with you.
Vaccines & testing
We strongly encourage all attendees to have up to date COVID-19 vaccinations.

Individuals are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after the second dose in a 2-dose vaccine series, such with the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as the Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccine.

To protect our community and those most vulnerable, we ask that throughout the week, you take a COVID-19 lateral flow test each morning before attending any events. While we will not be checking test results for entry, we rely on you to protect your health and that of people around you.

If you feel sick, or have any concerns that you have contacted anyone with COVID-19, please take a COVID-19 test before attending any events. If you test positive for COVID-19 during the week, please remain in your accommodation and limit contact with other people as much as possible.

Current UK government guidance (9 May 2022) is to quarantine for minimum 5 days if you test positive. You can find more information here.

You can purchase Covid-19 testing kits here or any other pharmacy in the UK and have them delivered to your accommodation ahead of time, so that you can test every morning. In case of emergency, if you do not have access to a test, please contact the WorldGBC events team ([email protected]) for assistance.
Sustainability
We are taking steps to decrease carbon emissions across this week-long event by providing low-carbon meals and event venues and suggesting public transport options and offsetting travel emissions for in person attendees.
Low-carbon TRAVEL
We recommend offsetting your travel through a verified, high quality offsetting service such as the one offered by South Pole
plant forward meals
Our event catering will prioritise delicious, low-carbon meal and drink options.
Reducing material use
To facilitate a circular and zero-waste event, we’re maximising the use of our existing resources, and eliminating single-use disposable items wherever possible.
