Course Descriptions and Pricing

10K Run and Ramble
Adult ticket: £15
15-18 ticket: £8

Runners and ramblers will enjoy the very best on offer of Wellow and its beautiful, and often muddy, surrounding hills and valleys. The course consists of country lanes, byways, grassy track, and a signature challenge: Littleton Lane, a muddy downhill section through a peaceful country wood. You’ll also pass through kissing gates, styles, bridges and fords. Be prepared for some mud and puddles in your path, a couple of challenging hills, a descent or two, a 360-degree view. This is a mainly-road run with some trail running, and don’t expect to bag a “PB” on our course. Do, however, look forward to spotting wildlife like kingfisher and herons, not to mention marshals who will help keep you hydrated and on course.

5K Run
5K ticket: £8

This is a trail running-dominated 5K, initially following the same path as the 10K, down Wellow’s Mill Hill, but then hops onto a lovely trail that follows Wellow Brook through a valley and several fields. As with the 10K, you’ll pass through kissing gates and a bridge. Be prepared for some mud and puddles in your path, a descent, and a challenging hill (on road) before running along Wellow’s High Street just before your finish.

Kids Colour Run
Colour run ticket: £3.50

This will be a fun relaxed circuit set up on the Wellow recreation ground with multiple colour stations and a few obstacles to navigate along the route! We recommend that runners wear goggles or sun glasses to keep the colour out of eyes and a change of clothes for the car journey home! Runners can do as many loops as they would like until the colour runs out or their legs run out of steam - whichever happens first!

The colour is 100% food grade corn starch with coloured dye, safe to eat (although not encouraged!) and 100% biodegradable.

This event is open for runners of all ages (no minimum age), particularly runners who would be too young to do our 5km race.
