Xhibit: A Community Arts Salon
Welcome to Xhibit, a community arts show featuring performances by musicians, poets, and writers. When politics is downstream from culture, we build a habit of presence and good energy with old and new neighbors. Community is power.
All proceeds from the show (after venue cost) will be donated to the Ali Forney Center, a non-profit that provides housing, food, education, and healthcare to queer homeless youth in NYC. 80% of the youth they serve are forced out of their homes due to their identity.
WHEN: FRIDAY, MAY 2, 7:30pm
LOCATION: Light and Sound Design--A secret loft within a 5 minute walk of the Greenpoint G. Ticket holders will receive venue address via email.
