Made in America: The Hidden History of How the U.S. Enabled Communist China and Created Our Greatest Threat
with Xi van Fleet
Join us on March 31st at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel
Xi van Fleet, a survivor of Mao's Cultural Revolution and fierce advocate for freedom, has become one of the clearest and most effective voices warning about Communism, the Chinese Communist Party and how America's Left increasingly resembles her experiences of the CCP in China.  Her latest book, Made in America: The Hidden History of How the U.S. Enabled Communist China and Created Our Greatest Threat, co-authored with Yu Jie, is receiving widespread acclaim for its exposing not only the dangers of the CCP but the extent to which the U.S. has played a role in enabling and empowering it.

We are delighted to host Xi van Fleet again for a discussion about this important book; we have hosted Xi a number of times and she is one of the AFA community's favorite speakers.

Please join us on March 31st at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel for what will be an engaging, informative and important talk.

About the Book:

One of the most effective anti-communist voices in America today, Xi Van Fleet made waves with her breakout book Mao’s America, exposing eerie parallels between China’s past and America’s present woke revolution. Now, alongside renowned Chinese dissident Yu Jie, she sounds the alarm once more—revealing how the CCP’s rise was not just enabled by Soviet Russia but, shockingly, by the United States itself.

Understanding this hidden history is essential for Americans in confronting the CCP’s global ambitions and stopping the spread of Communism at home.

For over a century, progressive and Communist ideologies have steadily infiltrated American society, shaping U.S.-China policies that have, intentionally or not, empowered the CCP. From its founding in 1921 to its brutal takeover of China 28 years later, the CCP’s ascent was fueled by foreign support—first from the Soviets, then increasingly from the U.S. After the Sino-Soviet split and the near-collapse of China, the United States emerged as the CCP’s primary enabler, helping transform it into the world’s second-largest economy and our greatest geopolitical threat.

Most Americans remain unaware of their own country’s role in the CCP’s unprecedented success. While others have explored pieces of this story, no book has revealed the full picture—until now. With meticulous research and unflinching clarity, this book exposes the uncomfortable truth: to effectively counter the CCP, we must first dismantle communist influence at home.

About Xi van Fleet:

Xi Van Fleet describes herself as “Chinese by birth; American by choice, survivor of Mao’s Cultural Revolution, defender of liberty.”

She was born in China, lived through the Cultural Revolution, and was sent to work in the countryside at the age of 16. After Mao’s death she was able to go to college to study English and has lived in the United States since 1986. In 2021, she delivered a school board speech in Loudoun County, Virginia against Critical Race Theory that went viral and ignited national conservative media attention.

She now devotes her time and energies full time to warning about the parallels between Mao’s Cultural Revolution in China and what’s unfolding in America today. Since going public with her message, Xi Van Fleet has appeared on Fox News, Newsmax and radio shows and podcasts across the country.
