In partnership with the Mayor's Office of Santiago de Cali, this delegation experience will focus on the first-ever Global Summit of Afro-Diasporic Leaders during the 2026 Petronio Álvarez Festival. This experience centers belonging as both a challenge and a possibility within Colombia's evolving national story. Hosted in Cali, home to one of the largest Afro-descendant populations in Latin America, the gathering takes place in a city that embodies both extraordinary cultural richness and enduring racial and spatial divides.

The summit includes a Mayoral Forum featuring 50 mayors from across the Americas, expert panels on economic development, emerging technology, environmental protection, cultural diplomacy, and the gastronomy, fashion, music, and festivities of the 30th annual Petronio Álvarez Festival. Through meaningful dialogue, cultural exchange, and relationship-building, participants will engage with influential leaders, innovators, artists, policymakers, and community builders from across the African Diaspora and the Americas.
