The Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) is proud to sponsor its first medical conference, convening county partners and national experts to advance innovative, equitable, and integrated approaches to community care.

“Unboxed” reflects a shared commitment to moving beyond traditional boundaries and silos in community care. It represents a shift toward more connected, innovative, and person-centered approaches that support the full spectrum of health, behavioral health, and social needs in our communities. By thinking outside the box, we open the door to new partnerships, fresh perspectives, and practical solutions that better meet people where they are.

The Advancing Community Care Conference brings together professionals from medical services, behavioral health, county departments, and community-based organizations to explore how care can be delivered more collaboratively, equitably, and effectively. Through a focus on innovation, data-informed strategies, and cross-system collaboration, the conference highlights emerging trends and real-world approaches that are reshaping community care and improving access, outcomes, and overall well-being.

Through expert-led sessions, panel discussions, and interactive networking opportunities, participants will gain actionable insights to strengthen coordination across services, enhance client and patient experiences, and support healthier communities. Attendees will explore strategies that promote equity, continuity of care, and sustainable models of service delivery. The conference will offer up to 5 CME opportunities.
