Cultura Vitae Fest
Celebrating Catholic Culture

Holy Trinity Academy and Chesterton Academy of Holy Trinity are excited to host the Cultura Vitae Fest, a celebration of Louisiana Catholic culture and heritage. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the campus of Holy Trinity Academy and Chesterton Academy of Holy Trinity in Schriever, LA from 9 am until 6:30 pm. "Cultura Vitae", Latin for the "Culture of Life”, promises to be an action-packed family friendly fun day.

The morning begins with the celebration of Mass. Following Mass, Knights of Columbus and Peter Claver council chefs from around the region compete for the title of Best Culinary Council. Eventgoers will be served small tastings from the K of C Councils. Throughout the day, enjoy performances by Catholic musical acts from around the country. Additionally, the festival will feature a shopping village complete with exclusively Catholic merchandise, artists, schools, and religious orders. The evening culminates with Adoration at sunset. Attendees will collectively experience the entirety of Catholic culture in Louisiana, including sacred liturgy, music, arts, and food.

We would love for you to join us as a festival partner! Proceeds from the event will benefit Holy Trinity Academy and Chesterton Academy of Holy Trinity. You can learn more about the two schools at http://www.holytrinityacademy.org.

Musicians
We are pleased to announce the following musicians playing this year for Cultura Vitae Fest!
Connor Flanagan
Hip-Hop Artist
St. Paul, Minnesota
Connor Flanagan has been described as a hip-hop artist with a worship leader's heart, passionate about encouraging others to step into God's dream for their life. In a world where people are crippled by fear, scared of the unknown, and longing for purpose; Connor desires for his career to serve as a witness of what can happen when you don't settle for what the world offers, and instead allow God to breathe life into your gifts.

Pulling from influences such as Macklemore, Mat Kearney & TobyMac, Connor's acoustic roots plus love for hip-hop have allowed him to create a unique sound that is accessible by any audience. From driving anthems to acoustic pop, Connor's ability to bring his songs to life on stage is what sets him apart. From booking and promoting his own album release tour, to opening for acts such as Kari Jobe & David Crowder, Connor is committed to crafting a live experience that communicates both hope & encouragement to all those in attendance.

His new album "SEASONS" featuring 10 never-before heard tracks showcases a fresh new chapter in Connor's musical journey. These songs represent a new sound for Connor and will kick off an exciting new phase of his artistry. "SEASONS" is set to be released on Aug. 5, 2025.

The Vigil Project
Covington, Louisiana
House Band
To live the Catholic Faith is to live on a journey of devotion. The Vigil Project's mission is to help expand the conversation around Catholic music to extend beyond the Mass into the day-to-day life of faith. We do this through creative music, projects, musicians, parish formation, and live events.
Jack Dardis
Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Folk, Worship Music
I'm a musician and songwriter from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. My music blends alternative folk and worship, creating songs that connect deeply with both the soul and the heart. Currently, I’m traveling the world, spreading a culture of true music and honest worship, sharing my message with diverse audiences and cultures along the way.

My journey began in church choirs as a child, where I first experienced the power of music to bring people together. Over time, songwriting became a way for me to not only express my faith but also to process and make sense of the world around me. Through music, I’ve found a way to navigate life’s complexities and connect with others in meaningful ways.

I’ve had the privilege of performing in places like Italy and Mexico, where I’ve seen how music can unite people across cultural boundaries. These experiences have only fueled my desire to share my message with even more people, and I’m excited to continue traveling, sharing my music, and inviting others into moments of worship and reflection.

The Dwell
Covington, Louisiana
Praise and Worship
Andrew and Sophie here…  we’re The Dwell! We’re just two friends who really love writing, making, and playing music about our lives with Jesus. Over the past few years, we’ve been able to do just that leading worship with The Vigil Project all over the world. In that time, we realized that there were so many more moments of encounter with Jesus in our lives (and probably yours too) between the church and the chapel - we felt a call to write about them.

Our first album, HONEST, is a glimpse into our own relationships with God throughout our time in college.

Cameron fontenot and the rhythm Aces
Lafayette, louisiana
Cajun Music
The Rhythm Aces focuses on the styles of Cajun music such as Marc Savoy, Octa Clark, Milton Adams, Belton Richard, and many more!
Lift 3:16
Houma, Louisiana
Praise and Worship
Lift 3:16 is a non profit organization whose purpose is to provide opportunities for faith formation throughout the Houma-Thibodaux Diocese.

All for the future generations of our Church.
