ECMO HEART-LUNG SEMINAR
Get the training you need for success! L.E.A.R.N. skills to enhance your clinical practice and for certification knowledge.
ECMO HEART-LUNG SEMINAR

ECMO Heart-Lung Seminar is an advanced course design for the registered nurse, respiratory therapist, and ECMO specialist interested in increasing his or her knowledge in managing the critically ill heart and lung failure patient.

EHLS was developed to extend your knowledge of established standards of care and practical skills for the ECMO patient and to meet or exceed ELSO guidelines.

This two-day course includes didactic presentations, coupled with practical skills stations, water drills, and simulated training. We will be highlighting device utilization, hemodynamic management, continuous renal replacement therapy, neurological impairment, infection control measures, and much more. If it is certification you seek, this two-day course will help you hone your skills and comprehension of ECMO management.

Didactic lectures: Hemodynamic management and the temporary mechanical support patient, pe Mastering VV ECMO Principles Mastering VA ECMO Principles
Skill stations: water drills, priming, ECMO initiation, pump pressure management, and emergency management.

TARGET AUDIENCE

EHLS is recommended for the emergency and ICU critical care nurse, Practitioner, and respiratory therapist and the newly developing ECMO Specialist with at least one year critical care experience.
