Please join us as we honor the extraordinary life of Erich Sailer — a man whose love of ski racing and gift for coaching shaped generations and whose spirit touched everyone he met. Because Erich inspired such a large community, we plan to gather outdoors for the memorial service so there is room for all who wish to celebrate him.
Please RSVP as soon as possible to help us plan this event. In the event of poor weather, we will move the ceremony inside and space will be limited to approximately 400 people. If this happens, we may ask that some people listen outside the chalet through the speaker system or watch the livestream of the program.
For friends who cannot be with us in person, the service will be livestreamed at:

Junior ski racing and supporting racers to become champions in skiing and in life was the driving force and passion in Erich's life. If you would consider making a donation in Erich's name, his family would appreciate this going to
The Lindsey Vonn Foundation or to your favorite local ski race team.
The shuttle bus will begin at 2:15 p.m. from the building on the south end of the parking lot at the Normandale Lake Park parking lot for overflow parking. Consider taking Uber and carpooling due to numbers.
Light refreshments will follow the service.
Erich’s legacy on the slopes — and in the hearts of those who loved him — will continue to inspire us all.
