International Student Orientation
January 07, 2026
The International Student Orientation, or ISO, brings together new students from all over the world as they prepare to transition to life in a U.S. academic setting. Our staff of immigration advisors will discuss navigating the complex regulations associated with your F-1 visa. Our global learning specialists will introduce students to the various programs and support services that VCU and the Global Education Office have available to encourage your academic and personal success.

Questions?
Contact the Global Education Office at [email protected].

ISO is not intended to replace other orientations, including VCU Orientation for undergraduate students, Graduate Student Orientation, ELP Orientation, etc. Students should arrange to attend ISO in addition to any of these other relevant orientations.
