La Jungla Fest is an immersive femme, queer, and music forward sound, visual, and movement-based art experience featuring sounds from Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America. The event will feature sounds by resident DJs MLE and Yanna and guest DJs Maldita Vaina (Dominican Republic) and Mamicana (NYC) in a debut as their duo "Vasofón."

Drinks are generously sponsored by Bacardi Premium Rum, Equal Parts Brewing, and Topo Chico USA and are included for free with ticket purchase. Light bites will also be provided.

La Jungla Fest will host a curated list of vendors including Caribbean food by Flor y Miel, handcrafted ice cream by Melou's Creamery, and coffee and specialty drinks by Las Perras Cafe.

This event is produced by Diablo Rojo Sound and funded in part by the City of Houston through the Houston Arts Alliance. Plants are generously provided by Verandi Secret Garden, and the event will feature a projection installation by Input/Output.
