STEPHEN WHITE GROUP
Raised around legendary musicians such as J.J. Cale, Leon Russell, Teegarden and Van Winkle, The Tractors, and his father, Don White, Steve White is taking his place among these Tulsa greats. Born in Tulsa, OK, and exposed to R&b and the Tulsa Sound at an early age, Steve White's music is steeped in the same soulful tradition that has sparked many musicians' careers. Since writing his first song at the age of 9, Steve has honed his skills as songwriter, guitarist and vocalist through years with his legendary dad's band and the Gus Hardin Band. He then fronted the R&B band, Otis, the funky groove based Super Groove, and the Steve White Band.

Steve has also shared the stage as band member or guest musician with artists such as Earl Cate, Bugs Henderson, Steve Pryor and the Bill Davis Band, among many others. His band shared the stage with the likes of Leon Russell, Delbert McClinton, and Buddy Guy..Steve later co=produced an all original CD, Bo Daddy, with his father and David Teegarden Sr.

After being based out of Dallas for ten years, Steve returned to Tulsa in 2016 to form the Stephen White Group with revered Tulsa musicians Travis Fite, Dylan Layton, Matt Martin, Matt Leland, and Cole Seigel among others. They will soon release the band's debut album.

Steve is an expert at connecting with the audience and it's been said of his smooth, groove based guitar work that the only thing "white" about Steve is his last name. We love it every time he plays Tulsa Time House Concerts and very much look forward to this show on November 15th.

As always, this is a BYOB event with ticket purchase (donation to the band) required for entry. We open the gate at 6:30 so people can mingle and enjoy the potluck. Please bring one of your favorite dishes to share if you eat here.

Please remember that everyone is here to listen to the musicians, not conversations next to, behind or in front of them. You may go to the outside patio to converse while the band is playing.

Just as prices are increasing on everything else, the cost of presenting fine musicians like these has risen even more with the substantial addition of copyright licensing fees. If you enjoy the Tulsa Time House Concert experience please consider dropping what you can in the separate tip jar at the next show to make sure they continue. I would ask for sponsors but because I'm not a 5013c I cannot offer the tax deduction which sponsors usually expect. If you would like to discuss a sponsorship regardless, please contact me asap.

Tulsa Time House Concerts is now a member of Folk Alliance International.

Tulsa Time House Concerts (TTHC) are private concerts in my home. TTHC is not a business but rather gatherings of old and new friends who enjoy live music, fellowship, food and fun.  When weather permits the music is outside among the gardens and trees. Ticket purchases are donations to the band. You are welcome to add an additional donation/tip online or at the show.
