Tom Pevear is a Tulsa-based singer, guitarist, and songwriter who has become one of Oklahoma's standout roots musicians. His music blends acoustic blues, folk, gospel, bluegrass, ragtime, and traditional country, with a strong emphasis on fingerstyle guitar.
Originally from Boston, Pevear relocated to Oklahoma, where he immersed himself in the regional roots music scene. He performs more than 250 shows a year throughout Oklahoma and the central U.S., building a reputation as an exceptional live performer.

The Red Dirt Rangers are one of Oklahoma's most influential Americana and country-rock bands and are widely regarded as pioneers of the Red Dirt music movement. Formed in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in 1988, they helped define a sound that blends country, folk, rock, bluegrass, blues, and Western swing with a distinctly Oklahoma perspective.
The core members have remained together for decades:
Brad Piccolo – guitar and vocals
John Cooper – mandolin, percussion, and vocals
Ben Han – lead guitar and vocals
The Red Dirt Rangers grew out of "The Farm," a famous communal house in Stillwater where musicians gathered to write songs and jam together. Other artists associated with The Farm included Jimmy LaFave, Bob Childers, and Tom Skinner. Many consider this community to be the birthplace of modern Red Dirt music.
If you're exploring Oklahoma roots music, the Red Dirt Rangers are essential listening. They were instrumental in laying the foundation for later Red Dirt artists and helping establish Oklahoma as the home of the Red Dirt sound.

We are so excited about Ian's annual acoustic tour stop at Tulsa Time House Concerts! Tulsa is one of Ian's favorite cities because of our strong music community and the feeling is mutual.
As always, this is a BYOB event with potluck.
Ian Moore, the Austin-based blues-rock guitarist and songwriter, draws inspiration from a diverse range of artists, including The Beatles, Curtis Mayfield, Stevie Wonder, and Sly & the Family Stone. He honed his skills on the road as a guitarist with Joe Ely, an experience that eventually led to solo tours opening for the Rolling Stones and ZZ Top. Moore released his debut album in 1993, followed by his final Capricorn release, Modernday Folklore, in 1995. The album marked a creative shift, expanding beyond the blues-rock traditions of his Texas roots and incorporating elements of Southern soul, gospel, and Beatles-influenced pop alongside the powerful blues riffs that had defined his early sound.
While Moore continues to explore the blues in his recordings, it's his live performances that have earned him a devoted following. From blistering electric blues to deeply personal songs that showcase his more soulful side, Moore brings an unmistakable energy and emotion to the stage. Still touring extensively, he continues to captivate audiences—and his loyal fans eagerly anticipate every performance.

Tulsa Time House Concerts
My house concerts started about 7 years ago with Dustin Pittsley and Jesse Aycock in my backyard. Then Don White packed the house 2 nights in a row! Hmm, we might have something here...I had managed the Dustin Pittsley Band for several years prior and it seemed like a natural progression.
Each show has a suggested minimum donation per person which I request be paid in advance online with a credit card or with cash/check. All proceeds (minus 10% for expenses) goes to the musicians. Your seat is not reserved prior to receipt of payment. This is to ensure we have enough people to make it worthwhile for the artists and for me to know how to set up the house depending on the number of guests. THE PRICE GOES UP THE DAY OF THE SHOW.
The shows are always BYOB with a voluntary potluck. I encourage you to come early to mingle, grab some food and select your seats.
The musicians present outstanding shows and deserve our respect so I ask guests to remain seated while a song is being played. Also kindly keep voices low during the performance so everyone who has traveled and paid to enjoy them may do so.
If weather permits, please bring a lawn chair for outdoors. I will notify you if it is inside or out before the day of the show.
We have plenty of street parking.

I don’t cook. What to do about the potluck?
No worries. The main point is to be here. Snack items and items purchased from the deli are totally fine. We also have some excellent cooks who bring amazing dishes. This is not a cooking contest.
