Redpath Partners Women in Construction Charity Golf Day #2 ⛳

I was truly honoured to host and facilitate the second Redpath Partners Women in Construction golf day yesterday.

To have 46 Women exclusively from the Construction industry attend and connect outside of the usual site or office based interactions is incredibly purposeful and rewarding to see.

Outside of connecting these wonderful women in a fun environment, the day also centered around a few remarkable charities that play a direct role in supporting and assisting women across the industry.

Everyone participating and supporting didn’t just enjoy the day but actively contributed to raising awareness to these wonderful charities and also empowering women.

To the head contractors that supported the day with their generous donations thankyou to Intermain , CIP Constructions, Hansen Yuncken, BADGE Constructions, Chappell Builders Pty Ltd Builders and Sitzler Pty Ltd.

Thank you to Redpath Partners for supporting me with my passions and allowing me to act with complete freedom in pursing them.

Together, we can swing for a cause and make a difference in the careers of women in construction. See you on the greens!

I had the pleasure of hosting the Women in Construction Golf Day back in March 2023 and it was an absolute blast! It was so amazing to see so many women from the construction industry come together for a day of fun, networking, and golf ⛳.

The day was filled with laughter, new friendships, and a few golf mishaps (we won't mention any names). It was wonderful to see everyone out on the course, enjoying the beautiful weather and taking in the stunning views.

But what made the day truly special was the sense of community and support among the WIC ladies. It was inspiring to see women from all different backgrounds and companies come together to lift each other up and celebrate each other's successes.

As the host of the Ladies in Construction Golf Day, I am looking forward to continuing the discussion on how we can increase participation for women in the head contractor construction industry. It is clear that there is a need for greater representation of women in this field, and events like this are a great way to keep the conversation and build a community of support. I invite all of you to continue this dialogue and share your ideas on how we can make the construction industry more inclusive for women.

Thank you to Redpath Partners for their commitment to this important cause. I am very touched that as a business there was no hesitation in backing something that is very close to my heart ❤

Women in Construction Lunch
I had the pleasure of hosting a luncheon for Ladies in Construction 👷‍♀️ (something I am passionate about).

Was great to bring together a group of like-minded women at varying stages in their careers to discuss how we can impact the market, bring more women into the construction industry, and develop existing women who have entered construction.

The discussion was centered around a couple of key points being :

• Elevating women currently into leadership positions and the journey to get there

• The most pressing requirement - breaking down the barriers of opportunity to enter the industry, with emphasis on providing exposure to students at a young age

Redpath Partners and myself would like to extend a thank you to the ladies in attendance on the day, I appreciate your contribution on the topic and looking forward to working together to bridge the gap further.
