The Zahra Foundation is a not-for-profit that lights a path forward for women impacted by domestic abuse, providing free programs, services, education and grants promoting economic wellbeing and empowering participants to build a life that is free from poverty and abuse.

The Zahra Foundation exists to support women recovering from domestic abuse to build a more empowered life and gain financial independence, Providing trauma and violence-informed services through financial counselling and group education programs. These initiatives aim to empower women to rebuild their lives after leaving domestic abuse situations, acting as both preventive and responsive measures.

Working towards being able to provide access to women who require their services across Australia into programs when they need them for as long as they need them.
Women’s Safety Services SA (WSSSA) supports women and their children who are experiencing domestic and family violence. This organisation is committed to helping individuals find safety and support during and after experiencing abuse.

WSSSA offers a range of programs and services across numerous sites to assist people in South Australia.

The belief at WSSSA is that all women and children have the right to live safely in their homes and that experiencing domestic and family violence is a fundamental breach of human rights. The organisation advocates for all perpetrators of violence to be held accountable for their actions.

Above all, WSSSA believes that domestic violence is everyone’s business and that all levels of society must work together to strive for its elimination.
