Gather your friends, family or business colleagues and step through the mystical gates. Be greeted with a sparkling wine, from our very own local aerial waitress, as she entertains from above. It's glamourous, heart-stopping and totally unexpected.
The Vino
Experience our olde English style courtyard, an area once used by the Doctor's maids and cooks. Feel the nostalgia, as you connect with the past of those that have walked before you. It's now time to enjoy a selection of premium red and white wine, sourced from a variety of boutique Hunter Valley wineries. Dr Crookston's personal sommelier, Katharina, from the stunning wine region of Mainz in Germany, takes your senses on an idyllic journey - exploring flavours, aromas, food pairing and a few fun games and mystery prizes along the way.

Like most great things from the past, collecting and listening to vinyl records is seeing a huge resurgence. What better way to spend a warm December afternoon than indulging in some vino & vinyl. For avid collectors and curious newcomers alike, we invite you to browse our wide selection of vintage records that will be available for purchase.
Of course, vinyl is not just for looking at! Immerse all of your senses as you take the opportunity to listen at one of our record player stations.
The Celebration
To add a touch of Christmas magic, our friends at Avion Aerial Entertainment will present a unique and elegant Christmas inspired performance. Not only that, their stunning performers will be available for photo opportunities during our soirée. A wonderful way to capture and share your experience, there’s sure to be plenty of Instagram-worthy moments.
Enjoy your surroundings, as you settle into these iconic grounds. Enjoy Katharina's pay-as-you-go speakeasy, filled with wine, beer and soft drink. The talented team at PB Catering will be supplying delightful grazing platters, with a variety of sweets and savoury options on offer.

The home of Dr Crookston as it is colloquially known in the township of Camden, sits proudly atop of John Street. Even though a sizeable property at one of the highest and central points in this old English style town, it hides itself away, screened by a myriad of well-established trees, that although old, are only mere adolescents compared to the age of such a home. The house has a proud history within the township, and as per the request by Camden’s very own royalty - Sir William Macarthur who commissioned and financed the build, the home was to be a substantial structure ornamental to the town.
