Dan Hermanson of Scheels
Dan Hermanson is the Store Leader at Scheels in Sioux Falls, where he oversees one of the region's premier employee-owned retailers. During his 27-year career with Scheels, Dan has worked in nine stores across eight states, gaining extensive experience in retail leadership and building partnerships with local brands. He, his wife Angie, and their daughters, Lainey and Lyla, have proudly called Sioux Falls home for the past five years and enjoy being part of the community.
Jael Thorpe of Gameday Social
Jael Thorpe is the Founder of Gameday Social, a South Dakota-based, certified women-owned apparel brand. Originally launched from a college town boutique, Gameday Social has grown into a nationally recognized name in collegiate women's apparel, known for its elevated garment quality and distinctive graphics. Today, the company creates apparel for fans of more than 100 universities, entertainers, and professional sports teams across the country.
