Friendships are the relationships we choose, and often the first ones we let slide when life gets busy. We assume a good friend will understand without being told, then wonder why the distance keeps growing. Is there a way to repair what's drifted, without it feeling like starting over?

Led by Rabbi Ari Sollish and Clinician Rebecca Brown, this program focuses on friendships - how people navigate conflict, shifting values, boundaries, and repair as life changes. Participants will learn a core idea from Rabbi Sollish: the difference between showing up from a lower self ("what's in it for me?") versus a higher self ("how can I be there for the other?"), and how that shift shapes healthy relationships. The speakers will also explore practical themes like empathy, conflict, healing, boundaries, and how relationships can shift without simply ending, with the goal of leaving with something actionable.

Expect a warm, candid evening for anyone ready to look at friendship with fresh eyes, and the third and final session in Roots and Wings, a three-part series from BeWellATL, on reconnecting with the people closest to us.

Light refreshments will be served.
