This week brings day-specific check-in for multi-day events, a refreshed Name Badges page, and a batch of fixes to receipts, billing and badge printing.
New
- Check in day-specific tickets only on their day. For multi-day events, you can now turn on date enforcement for a ticket so it can only be checked in on the day it's for. Scanning it on a different day shows which day it's valid instead of checking the attendee in.
Improvements
- Name Badges is out of beta. The page has a clearer layout with Badges and High-Speed Settings tabs, and shows a notice while your badge is still a draft. You can also generate badges without turning on High-Speed mode.
- More coupons on Enterprise. Enterprise plans, including legacy Enterprise, can now create up to 500 coupons.
- Additional forms share with your event's image. When an additional form has no social share image of its own, links to it now use the main event's image instead of a generic one.
- Simpler settings for additional forms. Dashboard options that don't apply to additional forms are now hidden.
Fixes
- Receipt times match your event's time zone. Purchase times on confirmation-email receipts and in purchase history now use the event's time zone.
- The Billing page loads for every account. Some accounts saw a blank Billing page. Fixed.
- Name badges generate reliably. Badge images in formats other than PNG or JPEG, and custom form fields left untouched in the badge editor, no longer stop badges from generating.
- Clearing a multiple-choice answer removes it. Using [clear] on a multiple-choice question at checkout or when editing an attendee's answers now removes the saved answer.
- Correct web address on subevent URLs. The URL settings for a subevent now show its real web address.
- No more email approval warning when confirmations are on. The approval warning no longer appears when confirmation emails are already turned on.
