Cryptographic Agility and Agentic Systems: Pivotal Challenges and Innovations in Modern Cybersecurity
The modern cybersecurity landscape has entered a transformative period driven by converging challenges: (1) the migration to post-quantum cryptography as quantum computing becomes capable breaking current cryptography standards, and (2) the emergence of agentic systems within IT environments introducing novel attack surfaces and complexities. This talk examines the practical implications of the large-scale cryptography transition while exploring the security and operational risks of deploying agentic systems. We'll discuss actionable strategies and innovations for organizations to prepare for these shifts and give an outlook on what’s next.

Fire Side Chat with Tim Ehrhart, CISO & Domain Head Information Security at Roche and Slava Degtyarev, Head of IT at TradeXBank incl. Q&A from the audience

Sourcing Independence and why it will be Important in the Future?
Sourcing independence in cybersecurity means reducing reliance on single vendors or external dependencies to build a more resilient, secure, and self-determined IT infrastructure. Ultimately, the goal is to gain greater control over data and processes, rather than being subject to rigid provider structures or the laws of other jurisdictions.

In this Fireside Chat, you will hear from real life experiences and things that don't necessarily occur in everyday life from Slava’s experience. Slava will tell you how he survived the sanctions regarding his data in the cloud – at that time working for a Russian bank - and what he experienced along the way—and not necessarily pleasant ones…

Afterwards, Tim explains why independence is on his roadmap, why it's important for a company like Roche, what he has already experienced, and what his plans are for the future. He will show us how important it is to “at least” consider plans in this direction.

At the end, we will discuss the topic together, and the audience is invited to ask the two guys all the questions that interest them.
