Join us for an all-inclusive 4 day / 3 night creative retreat hosted by Fluid Artists Callen Schaub and Billie Gaura. Set lakeside on Deer Lake in the stunning Pacific Northwest, this experience blends art, nature, and deep rest. You’ll stay in a waterfront cabin and spend your days in workshops and gatherings where you’ll be taught, pampered, well fed, and gently encouraged to truly relax.
Surrounded by the quiet beauty of Deer Lake, this retreat is designed to spark creativity, deepen your technique, and foster meaningful connection with a community of fellow artists. Over several immersive days, we’ll explore unique acrylic pouring methods, color theory, and exciting new ways to express yourself through fluid art.
As the sun sets, evenings unfold with shared meals, laughter, and fireside conversations about art, life, and everything in between. It’s a few magical days of creating, connecting, and coming home inspired.
Kick off your retreat experience with a warm welcome and a relaxed dockside lunch. This is your moment to arrive, exhale, and connect with fellow artists in an easygoing lakeside setting. Grab a plate, claim a sunny spot, and let the rhythm of the water set the tone for the creative days ahead.
As you settle in, you’ll spend a little one-on-one time with Callen for intention-setting and a personal creative check-in, paired with a soothing chair massage designed to help you come to center, fully lean in, and open yourself to the experience of the weekend.
Relax with your retreat family and enjoy a beautifully prepared meal crafted by our incredible Executive Chef, with the lake as your backdrop.
An intimate, open-hearted morning conversation with Callen about art, life, fear, and creative truth. Students are invited to ask questions, share insights, and explore what it really means to live and create boldly. This session blends humor, and wisdom into a deeply human start to the day as guests prepare to head to the airport.
