Fairways to Opportunity – Supporting Pathways to Opportunity

Pathways to Opportunity is a community-based program of Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida that empowers individuals with disabilities by building life skills, independence, confidence, and social connections through inclusive, meaningful experiences.

Fairways to Opportunity is a fundraising initiative created to support our Pathways Birdies participants who are discovering confidence, discipline, and joy through the game of golf. Golf provides more than recreation; it fosters communication skills, focus, teamwork, and self-esteem, all while promoting inclusion in a traditionally inaccessible sport.

This year, Fairways to Opportunity is raising $16,000 to fund enriching golf experiences, including a weeklong golf camp at Tiburón, opportunities to play at various local golf courses, as well as transportation, golf clubs, and appropriate clothing. These funds ensure our Pathways Birdies can fully participate, learn, and thrive, on and off the course.
