WHAT TO EXPECT
• The performance is an OUTSIDE standing affair.
• The rehearsal will have seating, but the performance does not.
• Music stands are NOT provided.
• The best parking is at the rehearsal location. Do not plan to move your car until after the performance.
• Performers will make the very short walk from the rehearsal to the performance location.
• We will be performing as part of
Victorian Christmas in downtown historic Nevada City!
ABOUT THE MUSIC
• Instrumentation is Sopranino (optional), Soprano 1-2, Alto 1-2-3, Tenor 1-2, Baritone 1-2, Bass (optional).
• Instrument assignments will be sent about ten days before the event.
• Players who pay in advance will receive their music as PDFs about a week before the event. (Bring them printed and ready to play.)
• Players who pay cash at the door receive printed music upon arrival.
• All music is marching size (5"T x 7"W), so please bring a lyre and flip folder.
• If you do not have a lyre holder, bring a music stand (folding is best) and clips.
WHAT TO WEAR
• To keep with the Victorian Christmas event theme, performers are asked to wear appropriate
Victorian Christmas costumes.
• If a costume is not available, black or grey colors are encouraged. Performers must wear clothing WITHOUT LOGOS or printed designs.
• Performers are encouraged to wear "holiday headwear.”
