This one-day NCMA National Education Seminar analyzes the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul and recent NDAA-driven statutory changes reshaping federal acquisition policy and regulation. Participants will assess structural FAR revisions, statutory mandates flowing into regulation, and impacts on pricing, competition, subcontracting, and audit exposure. The session provides a practical framework to evaluate compliance risk and align internal processes with emerging requirements.

The federal acquisition community is facing some of the most sweeping changes in decades. Several recent Executive Orders from the Trump administration—most notably Executive Order 14275, “Restoring Common Sense to Federal Procurement”—are fundamentally reshaping the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) landscape.

Known as the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO), this initiative, led by the OFPP and the FAR Council, aims to return the FAR to its statutory foundation by eliminating many non-statutory requirements.

This full-day course is designed to bring government contractors and acquisition professionals up to speed on:
  • The current status of FAR rewrites under the RFO and other key Executive Orders reshaping the government contractor landscape
  • Key regulatory and non-regulatory changes
  • Updates to federal buying guides and their practical implications
  • Anticipated impacts on acquisition policy, contractor compliance, and audit practices
  • Emerging interpretations from oversight bodies such as DCAA and agency IGs
  • Convergence with other emerging market trends and regulatory changes including FY2026 NDAA implications for federal compliance

Led by RSM, this session will also provide expert analysis on what these changes mean for proposal development, contract administration, and internal controls—particularly as the federal government continues to roll out guidance and transition to formal rulemaking over the coming months.
Whether you're a procurement officer, compliance manager, legal advisor, or part of a capture team, this is a critical opportunity to stay informed and prepared.
