For over 30 years, the Halton Islamic Association (HIA) has been more than a masjid. It’s been a home where families grow, friendships form, and faith is nurtured.

As our community flourishes, so does our need for a larger space to gather, learn, and pray. That’s why we began the Rahmah Islamic Centre: a new masjid and community hub in North Burlington, built through the generosity and unity of our community. Designed for over 700 people, it will be a welcoming space for prayer, education, and connection — a lasting legacy for generations to come.

Our Journey So Far

Alhamdulillah, after receiving our building permit in November 2023, we began construction for Phase I in December 2023 and are expecting to complete it very soon, Insha’Allah.

We are now preparing to begin Phase II, bringing us one step closer to turning this vision into reality.

While you enjoy the fundraising event, your children can join our fun kids-designed program! We’ll provide engaging activities such as colouring, crafts, and games to keep them entertained and happy in a safe, supervised environment. Snacks will be provided.
