5-week hands-on farm experience designed for young children to explore, learn, and connect with nature in a meaningful way. Our Barnyard Explorers series is rooted in play-based learning and gentle daily rhythms that help children feel comfortable, confident, and engaged.
What a Typical Day Looks Like:
Each morning begins with circle time, where we gather for songs, stories, and connection. From there, children participate in an age-appropriate farm chore such as feeding animals or collecting eggs, helping them build responsibility and confidence.
After washing hands, we pause for a snack before transitioning into creative and exploratory play. Children engage in crafts, sensory activities, and open-ended free play designed to spark curiosity and support development.
We then wash hands again and enjoy lunch together, followed by one of the most loved parts of our day—gentle, supervised interaction with our baby animals, tractor rides, splashing in water, and good old-fashioned mud play!
Rain or shine, our days on the farm continue. We embrace all kinds of weather as part of the experience, with plenty of opportunities for puddle jumping and messy play. If needed, we also have a covered, cozy space where children can warm up and stay comfortable.
Our Approach:
We focus on creating a warm, nurturing environment where children can explore at their own pace while developing social skills, independence, and a meaningful connection to the natural world.
Spots are limited and tend to fill quickly. We encourage early registration to secure your child’s place.
