Over two select Saturdays, we are anchoring 2 new tour routes around iconic community hubs to explore the rich culinary landscape right in our backyard!
Tour 1: Saturday, June 13 | Taste of Birchcliff
We kick things off at the Birchmount Community Centre, venturing out into the surrounding blocks to visit the exceptional local restaurants and hidden gems that keep this neighbourhood thriving. Expect deep community roots, warm hospitality, and flavours that tell a story.

During the last weekend in June, we gather at Scarborough Town Centre, turning the bustling heart of Scarborough into our starting point for a brand-new route. We’ll dive into a completely different mix of standout establishments, showcasing how global food traditions have found a beautiful, resilient home right here.
Whether you decide to join us for one weekend or lace up your sneakers for both, you’ll get an insider’s taste of the brilliant diversity, entrepreneurial spirit, and flavours that makes Scarborough a world-class food destination.

Registration & Event Details:
1. Click the "Register" button on this page and fill out the registration form where we ask questions about your dietary restrictions and allergies, emergency contact details, etc. If you're bringing someone else with you, we ask that you fill out their information too.
2. After you complete the payment process, you will receive an email confirmation. A few days before the tour, you'll receive an email with details about the tour, including our meeting point, what to bring, etc.
3. We will see you at the designated meeting point on the day of the food tour. Please arrive a few minutes early so we can validate your tickets. The tours will start at 12:00pm sharp!

• This food tour is 3 hours long, and we will visit 4 major food stops along the way.
• We will walk and use public transit to get around.
• Pricing is inclusive of the tour guide, the food, transportation and gratuities.
• This is a rain-or-shine event. Please dress accordingly and be prepared for the weather conditions.
• If you have a small appetite, please bring reusable containers to take your leftover portions home.
• Spiciness Note: This tour will feature food that ranges from Mild to Spicy levels of spice.
Accessibility Notes:
• All restaurants are on the ground floor, but they may not have full accessibility features (e.g. self-opening door at the entrance).
• Some of our stops may require participants to stand. If you require accessibility accommodations, please contact us ahead of the tour.
• If you would like to drive yourself to the stops, please let us know via email: [email protected] and we can send you the driving directions.
Refund Policy:
If you have registered but cannot attend and would like to request a refund, please note the following:
• We will issue a full refund, minus any credit card processing fees up to 72 hours before the start of the tour.
• We will only issue a 50% refund between 48 and 72 hours before the start of the tour.
• No refunds will be issued if the request is made within 48 hours before the start of the tour. You may request to transfer your ticket to another tour in our Scarborough Arts-sponsored tour series or to another person – just email us at [email protected] and we'll send you a special code to do so.
