Plan
Join us on May 29, 2026 for a 2 night Lean-to boating and camping adventure at Tioga Point Campground on Raquette Lake in Raquette Lake, NY. Tioga Point Campground is a unique, boat-access-only campground. From the campground, visitors have wonderful views of Raquette Lake and the surrounding mountains. Easy access to shore and to nearby attractions make this an unforgettable boating and camping location. An Adirondack Lean-to usually sleeps 6 people. However, we will only be putting 4 veterans in each Lean-to for a total of 12 veterans. You must be comfortable sharing a lean-to with other veterans. You will not be allowed to bring a tent. Sorry! Only one tent per site is allowed and the staff will be occupying the tent.
Please Note:
This trip is being offered first to veterans who have not previously attended. If you have participated in this trip before, you are still welcome to register; however, priority will be given to first-time attendees. We encourage you to sign up regardless—if no new veterans register, you may still be selected. In the event of high demand, returning participants may be placed on a waitlist and notified if a spot becomes available.
Experience an unlimited and truly immersive outdoor adventure exploring the beautiful backcountry of the Adirondack Mountains. Discover the joy and satisfaction of exploring the great outdoors, whether you are a seasoned adventurer or a first-time explorer. Take a boat ride into the remote backcountry to a primitive campsite and create lasting memories. You will have a unique opportunity to reconnect with nature, find peace, and discover the beauty of the great outdoors. In addition to boating and camping, veterans will have the option to fish for various fish species. Don't miss out on this meaningful and unforgettable outdoor adventure and experience.
