Architectural Lighting Kaleidoscope:
A Lighting Design Workshop
Join us for an engaging one-hour presentation led by Danny Streit from DHS Lighting Design, who will share expertise and real-world insights on key topics around lighting of architectural spaces. Through a series of focused discussions and visual examples, attendees will gain practical perspectives on how thoughtful lighting design influences the experience, performance, and character of a space.

Topics will include Lighting and Architecture: What Actually Matters, examining how light reveals texture, color, and material finishes, and how spaces are experienced differently during the day versus at night. We’ll also explore Backlighting Applications, looking at approaches for working with stained glass, opaque, and semi-opaque materials to create visual impact and enhance spatial experiences.
Finally, we’ll discuss Dark Sky Considerations, highlighting practical strategies for integrating responsible exterior lighting while preserving the integrity of architectural design.

The main workshop will be taking place between 12PM-1PM.

Lunch will be provided for all attendees!
