A total of 343 FDNY firefighters, 23 NYPD officers, and 37 Port Authority officers perished on Sept. 11, 2001. Make the climb to honor their sacrifices and support local first responders.

Proceeds from the event will benefit United Buckeye Firefighter Charities, Local L4311, and Buckeye Police Association. The $35 fee includes a commemorative T-shirt.

Registration heats will occur every 15 minutes starting at 5:00 a.m. Register for your preferred heat, then meet us at Trail 340 at your designated time the day of the event to check in; the trail is located at the north end of Verrado Way.

At 5:45 a.m. there will be a brief bell-ringing ceremony, which will begin with the honor guard's posting of colors. Guest Speakers will begin at 6:10am.

Note: This tribute isn't considered a race — you're invited to do the climb at your own pace, and completion of all steps is not required to participate.

Can't make it on the day of the memorial?
You can do the climb anytime over the course of the dates 9/11 - 9/13, and submit a photo taken during your climb at the following link to be entered into our raffle.

All those that submit a photo between the dates of 9/11 - 9/13 will be entered to win a basket filled with Verrado swag and prizes. Only one entry per person. The winner will be announced on Monday, Sept. 16th. The winner will be notified via email notification.

Commemorative t-shirts
Climb participants that reserve a time slot will receive T-shirt. Available sizes are men's small through 2XL; all sizes are available on a first come first serve basis.

Wristbands & T-shirts must be picked up during the following dates and times at The Center on Main (4239 N. Village Street, Buckeye, 85396).
