Plenty of apps can make guest lists. Such apps might be described as guest trackers, guest list creators, or event check-in apps. EventCreate, our full-scale event management solution, features a built-in RSVP tracker, a guest registration solution, and integrated ticket sales, offering three ways to automatically build a guest list. We’ve also built in several other helpful features beyond guest list management, like QR-coded PDF tickets and an event website builder.
If you’ve created an event in Google Calendar, you can add invitees by finding the event in your calendar and clicking Edit. Then, under Guests, simply add the email addresses of the people you want to invite. Once you click Save, each attendee will get an email invitation. This is different from building a guest list in the event-management sense. If you want to create a guest list you can use to send email confirmations or check off attendees at the door, you’ll want a dedicated guest list tracker like EventCreate.
The way to estimate a guest list depends on the kind of event you’re running. A good rule of thumb is to expect about 85% of invitees to turn up for small, intimate events and personal celebrations like weddings and birthday parties. Consider lowering that expectation to between 50% and 60% for larger happenings and corporate events.
There are many apps available to keep track of RSVPs. EventCreate, our event management solution, has a free RSVP tracker built right in.
Highly-rated and thousands of reviews worldwide, EventCreate is independently ranked a top event management platform.
